The Pignolo grape is a Black berry variety and is mostly grown in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region(s). The Pignolo grapes are also widely present in a bigger area which includes Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions as well. The Pignolo grape belongs to the Indigenous varieties group. The wine made from the Pignolo grapes is ruby red, transparent and its taste is basically warm, fruity, tannic, persistent, round.
